Notes:
Peacock Wrasses (Macropharyngodon spp.) are beautiful, reef-safe wrasses known for their intricate patterns and shimmering colours. They are peaceful and suited to mixed reef tanks, but have a reputation for being tricky to acclimate. Many refuse dry food initially and need a well-established tank with live microfauna (copepods, amphipods). They bury in the sand at night or when stressed, so a deep, fine sand bed is essential. May be harassed by aggressive tankmates, especially larger wrasses.
Sales Blurb:
A true gem for peaceful reef tanks, the Peacock Wrasse dazzles with its ornate patterning and gentle nature. Best added to mature systems with a healthy sand bed, this wrasse rewards patient aquarists with graceful movement and constant foraging. A must for pod-rich reef tanks.
