Notes:
The Melanesian Sailfin Tang is a large, robust tang with a tall, sail-like dorsal fin and striking vertical striping. It thrives in large, mature reef aquariums with open swimming areas and plenty of rockwork for grazing. Juveniles are more peaceful and can be kept in smaller groups, but adults establish territories.
Why We Like It:
With its dramatic sail-like fin and bold stripes, the Melanesian Sailfin Tang is a visually impressive addition to the reef. Active and hardy, it serves as both a showpiece and a natural algae grazer.
